HornFans was founded in January, 1999 with the intention of providing a fun place for the Longhorn faithful to gather and share their passion for all things Longhorn. HornFans has continued to grow and prosper due to the incredible community of fans that support it. HornFans is for the Longhorn family, and it is our privilege to be a part of it.

The Proprietors
HornFans is owned by Robert (aka Orangeblood) and Katy (aka LonghornGirlie) Agnor. Robert and Katy are both native Austinites who were raised on Longhorn sports.

Robert, a fifth-generation Longhorn and Austinite, is an Assistant Attorney General with the Texas Attorney General's office. A long-time member of the Wild Bunch (well, not as long as some, but then again they are ancient), Robert is an equal opportunity Longhorn, enjoying baseball tailgating as much as football.

Katy has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas. Of course, the only thing she still uses about her degree is to claim that she is a rocket scientist. She has been a professional software engineer specializing in internet technologies for the last 8 years. Currently, she does freelance work as an independent consultant. She has a perfect attendance record at all Texas-OU games since she was in-vitro.

The Moderators
All of the moderators of HornFans are die-hard Longhorn fans. They are also grossly underpaid (i.e., they work for beer and BBQ). They are generous enough to help Katy and Robert out with the unenviable task of monitoring HornFans. In addition to their passion for Longhorn sports as well as their intelligence and insight into the game, they all have great senses of humor -- an absolute must-have to do the job that they do.
