Posting a link with no thoughts of your own to a request that your average third grader can fulfill shows that you have no interest in discussion, only trolling. I know that you are new to the WM so let me break down how things usually have gone around here for the past few years. We have conservative and liberal and everything in between. We have partisan hacks in there that only toe the party line. BUT, we don't have blatant trolls that post a million times on a thread without ever even attempting to articulate a point. I hope the mods take note and make post quality a priority over meaningless quantity. We have had some really good discussions over the years and people have actually changed their minds on issues (myself included). I would hate to lose that to trolls that have no intent to further a discussion.

He deserves the same presumption of innocence that anyone does. I'm only saying that the state hasn't proven any kind of case against Reed. Yes, I can. You are full of ****. I didn't do what you said I did. Both are true. In a criminal case, the state has the burden to prove the defendant to be guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. In a civil case, the plaintiff has the burden to prove that the defendant is guilty usually (but not always) by a preponderance of the evidence (a much lower standard of proof than beyond a reasonable doubt). However, you do not understand how a burden of proof works, so it's a moot point.
Deez and Larry, One of my favorite things about the new site is that you can block posters so that you don't see the crap they splooge. According to David Fisher, Corcoran is wrong. He says that there was no DNA evidence in the case of the 12 year old. (see comments to the Corcoran article.) I was unable to find independent confirmation of whether or not the claims of DNA evidence in that case, cited repeatedly in this thread actually exists.
NJ, I didn't want to block him, because I don't like to hand down "death penalty sanctions" unless I'm completely certain that he's a troll rather than just a dumbass. However, I think it's pretty clear at this point that he's a troll, so he's blocked.
I actually did see that, but I didn't raise the issue for two reasons. First, like you, I never found any independent confirmation one way or the other. Second, it's still not relevant to the underlying issue, so it didn't feel worthwhile to bring on an unwinnable pissing match on that point.
