I wish Gowdy would run for President, but apparently he does not even plan to remain in Congress. We need more statesmen like Gowdy.
More of what? Leveraging a congressional hearing to make a partisan speech? Evidently Gowdy didn't feel his the time to query whichever bureaucrat the rest of the committee was questioning. Aren't those speeches typically reserved for the house floor? I don't fundamentally disagree with what Gowdy said. The court has already blocked it while it works it's way through their process as it should. The system is working as designed, except for Gowdy's committee meanderings.
