I have added some more names to the rank-sorted list above, who are additional names who showed up. The actual attendees whom I have seen confirmed by various sites, are all shown in burnt orange above.

Good to see Monroe, K.Jones, Fowler, McCulloch, and Dickson showing up despite the weather. Considering the icy conditions and road closures, I think this was pretty good attendance by the invitees. 11 of the 14 top-rated (4 and 5 star) in-state guys showed up!

Our QB commit Shane Buechele was on the road and tweeted that he was stuck in traffic. May have gone back, as there is no confirmation that he made it in. He would've been good to have around, to pump up people! [Update: He did make it in] ... Of course we need nobody else but Malik Jefferson for inspirational work

A few guys like Kyler Murray's cousin Devin Duvernay, and Ed Oliver whose High school and the current staff have an ongoing issue, didn't show up. As expected I guess. Jean Delance who got an offer today (and is rather high on us, and a possible flip at some point from OU) didn't make it but apparently only due to the weather. I suspect some flying from away like Haskins may not have made it due to weather too. Maybe some guys flying may be reaching late (if so, I will update it later)

What is going on these days in Texas? Ice in Austin, when it is almost March?

 

Near-4-star DB Eric Cuffee and current Kansas commit 3-star RB/ATH Aubrey White also seem to have got offers today (along with Jean Delance), based on their tweets.

 

High 3-star RB Darius Anderson also got an offer today, as per his tweet.

 

No sign of any commitments or anything so far. JP Urquides and Christian Wallace were two who seemed close to doing it. We will see....

Kendell seems like a cool kid, but I didn't get the impression from the video he was too excited about his visit.
Maybe he's just on the reserved side, I hope.

 

^^^ True; nothing too exciting in what he said. But Kendell Jones has made many trips to UT already. That is just him. He seemed generally pleased and not worried about anything though. We are in his top-3 or so for sure. It was a cold day and rain was falling on him. The key item in his case is that he made the effort to come, despite the weather. He didn't have to. That actually shows more about his interest. We were on him very early, and there is some decent chance that he would come our way in the end. As he keeps getting bigger (6-4, 364 lbs now), some think he could end up being better as an OL, but as of now he will be an NT.

...how much bigger is he going to get? 364 lbs??? Looking at his videos, I'm guessing that's a typo, but funny that ESPN has the same measurements on their site.

 

Ok, guess I'm an idiot. This kid really is that big. Listed at 6'5" now. He's the one I've seen referred to as "The Hulk". You look at his videos and he certainly doesn't look like he's carrying that much weight. Kid must be huge.

 

The only other guy I can recall with his combination of size and athleticism is Leonard Davis.
