Texas never had a chance in this game but their season-long turnover machine guarantees a blowout.

Why is Davenport still on the floor? Turnover prone and not a shooter.

We now have a team that knows what it's gonna take. Good lesson. They quite literally have to spend the off season getting twice as good. They have to work twice as hard. That is a huge lesson.

That's an emabarrasing loss - obviously. However I think right now UCONN is unbeatable. No one is going to take them down.

Davenport and Atkins were a combined 5 for 25. Davenport was 1 for 11. UConn shot 42% from three point land. Texas 22%.
You can't beat the big teams if you can't score big yourself.
18 turnovers. UConn smears everybody, but this was embarrassing, I have to admit.
We just haven't been able to recruit enough good shooting guards.

I didn't see the game, so I have two questions:

----the box score says Imani only played 17 minutes, though her stats looked good for the time she was in. Is she hurt?
----did we try to run and gun with them, or did we try to play more deliberately and slow it down?

Until someone figures out how Geno consistently gets the cream of the crop of women bb players, UConn will continue to win year after year after year.

After finishing 2 of 14 in garbage time. They shot 65% when it mattered.

Embarrassment? Hardly. UConn blew out the #2 team in the country (S. Carolina) by 45. They're damn good! they were better than ANY WNBA team out there now. Where the hell can we get a point guard like Jefferson???? Brooke is cute as a bug but needs to watch game film of OU's Ortiz and Uconns Jefferson to improve. She will get there. Every girl on this team can learn something from watching the UConn girls. Don't think this was all on the girls......the game plan didn't make sense. Hoping they all work on things to take this team a step further for next year....coaches included.

Blow out - Hattis played in the 2nd half.
UCONN did not miss many shots. Texas' shots were blocked over and over again. UCONN should be a good lesson for our talented team.

I am pretty sure that players and coaches will look at that game and figure out what they need to work on during the summer.
