We may have some weather issues, so might as well open the thread up and get out all the information, as it develops. Some stories on the series, to help pass the time. www.d1baseball.com texas-at-tcu-baseball-season-hanging-by-a-thread The weather radar: weather.php
If we do get underway it's a series that Texas has to win, if an at large berth is to be achieved for a regional. If not then it will down to winning the Big 12 Tournament. Parker French will get the start and look for Texas to pull out all the stops to win this game. Your in a must win series and the Friday game is pivotal to that end. The bats need continue hot, but TCU has one of the best pitching staffs in the nation, with a proven closer. The Texas staff has become riddled with injuries, now with the addition of Clemens. Don't know if Hollingsworth can pitch or not, seems to be a day to day thing with him. Going to look for lineups and any weather delays.
Looks like some nasty weather headed to Forth Worth and here in northeast Texas too. The audio should be on soon from Texasports and we can see what's happening
The 1300 the zone, in Austin audio is still going, during the delay. The sports talk show with Rod Babers. texas.leanplayer.com
The video for the game on channel 441 on Dish, just came on. They are showing "Inside TCU Baseball" right now. Are they showing that on the other channels for the game? This is the same video that TCU does for their paid web game service. They use their announcers. This will be the case for Friday and Sunday. The Saturday game on Fox Southwest will be the Fox announcers.
Their is a tornado warning in Fort Worth, with sirens blasting, and 80-90 mph. winds coming, according to Craig Way. We have a tornado warning in northeast Texas too.
A tornado was spotted in the Fort Worth area and Craig Way is concerned about the welfare, of his radio equipment.
I just lost power and of course Dish TV. I was listening to the adventures of Craig Way on the Texassports feed. My power just came back on, still no Dish with the ever familiar, "Complete Signal Loss."
Anyone old enough to recall, oh, midnight or later, sign off with "High Flight", then the ubiquitous " Indian chief" test pattern until the networks came back on early morning?
I guess 7:30 isn't doable, I hope the baseball field in Fort Worth, doesn't look like my backyard. It looks like a duck pond now.
Thanks for the High Flight video NB. Brought back some good memories form a long time ago. The F-104 was a real trip to fly.
Flooding here in Garland and I hear they got it much worse over in FW, interesting to see how Lupton drains and if it is playable tomorrow.
