That's the year I moved to Austin to attend UT and started following UTWBB. Can't believe I have followed the team for more than half my life.

What was your favorite team or teams during those years?

I imagine, the 1986 team would be on your list?

The 2002-03 is probably my all time favorite. Their run to the Final Four was so unexpected and their play a thing of beauty to watch. They came so close to bringing back the Horns’ second National Championship. That team was loaded with Tai Dillard, Stacy Stephens, Heather Schreiber, Jamie Carey, Kala Bowers, Nina Norman, Coco Reed, Alisha Sare, Annissa Hastings and Mercedes Williams, Tamra Cobbins, Jody Bell and Janna Jasperson.

My favorite players so far are Andrea Lloyd, Jamie Carey and Brady Sanders.

Loved Nina Norman! She stole a game from Tennessee at the buzzer! Loved her.

I have a lot of favorite players. Am I the only person following the team long enough to remember Linda Waggoner, I think about 77-80? She was our best ever 3 point shooter (though we didn't have the 3 point shot then). Not only that, she had a fantastic BB IQ, steals, leadership, etc. One of our all-time greats.

I first became aware of the team around 1980, when Jackie Swaim was here. But I started following more closely a few years later, during the Annette Smith era. She and Bev Williams were two of my all time favorites.

Yep, that team was also my favorite team. Stacy Stephens, Heather Schreiber, and Nina Norman are my favorites from that team. The high low with Stacy and Heather was a thing of beauty because of Heather's ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter. They should have beaten Uconn, had it not been for that horrible block charge call on Stacy.
