You have got to take 38 minutes and watch (read) this video. It is extremely educational and alarming. The woman is a highly educated Ukrainian politician. To give some background, the woman has been a Presidential candidate for Progressive Socialist Party, which traditionally campaigns on an anti-NATO, anti-IMF and pro-Russian platform. But that's beside the point. Watch and shake your head at what is happening over their with the support of the US government.

According to Wikipedia, she'said a Lyndon Laroche follower and ran on a Soviet-erase nostalgia platform in her previous failed presidentail runs, the best of which was a 4th place finish in '99 with 11% of the vote. The extreme socialist background leaves me skeptical of anything she might say.

There are some big problems with the scenario as reported. Because of the period for recent oil prices being low, there has been cutbacks and job losses in the oil/gas industry. Also, the production companies are dumping their NG wells in order to survive. If they can get rid of their loss leaders (natural gas) then their operating costs can prevent some future layoffs in the industry. How the oil industry is changing will depend upon the oil prices this year. There has been dramatic cutbacks in the number of rigs that have remained. I think it is somewhat guess work how the NG prices will hold as the USA adds some supply to the world. There is also some LNG plans going on in Europe. The picture is a bit hazy right now except for those in the industry keeping up with it.

Here is ZeroHedge's article du jour that has an interesting take from Russia, translated into english on their page here:
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-05-02/what-does-putin-want

    TLDR:
We've been at war with Russia since 2008. (didn't you know?) Ukraine is toast, a puppet. Russia has/will pwned the USA due to their allegiances with BRICS/CHINA/UN. Putin is Russia.

Not sure what to think since I have zero access to what is actually going on behind the scenes. Screw the 401k, live for now! :coolnana:

It's baffling that people think otherwise.

I'm curious what evidence he has. Based on his Wikipedia entries he appears to be on the payroll of Russia Today which is at the center of Russian propaganda.

I do believe the CIA seeds articles in pro-Western media. Media is often lazy so if someone brings them information that appears to be "fresh" or "insider" they'll gladly run with it without questioning the content. By all appearances the CIA and other Western intelligence agencies are either much better at playing in the shadows OR simply not as blatant as Putin.

Putin giving Seagal citizenship makes sense. They are both sissy boys trying to act tough, but as Chris Rock said, "I've seen better actin in tough actin tinactin."

It's no mystery why these two have a lot in common. One side of Seagal's grandparents were Russian Jews who immigrated to America.

Not to mention those two sissy boys trying to act tough have 104 years (52 each) of martial arts training between them.

Seagal (65) started at 13. He holds a 7th degree black belt in aikido, plus black belts in karate, judo and kendo.

Putin (64) started sambo and judo at 12 and holds a 6th degree black belt in judo. He also has a 7th degree black belt in kaikan karate.

Pretty sure those two 60+ wanna-be tough guys could do some serious damage.

At 65 and 64 the only damage they are going to do is pull a hammy or groin.

I still chuckle at the story of "bad ***" Seagal challenging "anyone" to a fight after he did a martial arts scene for a movie. A stunt man walked over and choked him out in about 10 seconds.
