Per NBCsports: Kyle Field will be better than a pair of NFL stadiums in the state of Texas, AT&T Stadium and NRG Stadium. Well, according to Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp at least. "This stadium is going to be the most impressive college sports venue in the country," Sharp said... Sharp also commented on the future, or lack thereof, of the rivalry between Texas A&M and Texas. As far as he is concerned, the series will not be returning for some time.
In response to: "Sharp also commented on the future, or lack thereof, of the rivalry between Texas A&M and Texas. As far as he is concerned, the series will not be returning for some time." Not surprising. With all the recent feel-good about Manziel, him winning the Heisman, big expansion of the aggy tackle box stadium and being a "member" of the SEC, you know the AD is going to be full of himself with expected hubris toward UT. I suspect they don't want to resume the usual beatings and periodic prison-rapes that occurred in the 76-37-5 series.
They had their flash in the pan couple of years. But going forward they be on average a middle of the pack team. Hey! They're just where they were in the B12!
