Have the Texans ever drafted a player from UT? How many have actually ever been on the roster?

of course, this also begs the question of WHAT Texas player is so condemned to hell that they should have to play for Houston? Isn't that a fate just barely better than being stuck in Cleveland?

great question! this is the sole purpose of my thread. it's high time, for the houston texans, to start paying more attention to TEXAS.

Did they draft Casey Studdard or was he signed as a free agent?

I totally agree with MB; what the hell have any of our players done to deserve to be sentenced to play for the KirbyKretinKorp? They remind me of the old Washington Senators - a handful of quality players surrounded by minor leaguers and a totally incompetent front office. They showed it early on by hiring Charlie Disasterly and then bringing in that mental midget of offense Chris Palmer. Congrats to Andre Johnson for getting to a possible contender. Watt is such a class act, I hope he gets to play for a ring before he's through, but it will NEVER happen in Houston.

HC Gary Kubiac was an aggy could probably be the reason. Now that jurruh jones has been pushed out of the war room, maybe Dallas will draft more guys from Texas. The aggy picks in the past didn't pan out.

    Joe,

The idiocy that is the KirbyKretinKorp started long before Kubiak arrived. It started with the hiring of Charlie Casserly, and little has improved from there.

Jerry Jones may have been "pushed out" of the war room, but he was sure as hell sitting there front and center, calling the shots on draft day.
