Houston in 6. The Clippers will have to turn around and play with one days rest and travel on the road. They should be gassed. The series with the Spurs felt like the Conference Finals.

Rox in 5. Clips legs are already tired and they will be hurt by their short bench. Brewer and Smith will run Clips ragged. Hack a whoever should be relatively uncommon because both teams vulnerable on that and neither coach wants to regularly open that Pandora box cause payback will be a *****.

The best solution to the hacking problem, other than expecting professionals to make their shots, is to have the coach pick someone to be a designated foul shooter. The only caveat is that the coach has to pick from a player currently on the floor. They cant come off the bench just to shoot free throws. Soccer does this with penalties and free kicks, and it works.

Houston in six, they have more depth and the Clippers are banged up too.
Clippers can still win a couple at home, if Paul is not hurt too badly.

Houston. Howard seems focused, dialed in on defense and offense. Hardin. Arguably MVP.

I am not a Howard or Hardin fan. I think they have all the talent in the world but are not team players and will never win anything. Watching Howard when he was with the Lakers he seemed a bit light upstairs, often out of position and more interest in pushing and shoving than working. I just refuse to believe a person with that talent can not learn to shoot free throws. I blame it on a work ethic plain and simple. As far as Hardin give him the ball and you will never see it again. He seems to be passing a bit more now but still tries to do it all himself. Go Clips.

Embarrassing performance by the Rockets. Pathetic. A win tonight will at least earn a little respect.

Respect earned. 21 point win. First game they played rockets ball this series. Still uphill climb but showed last night they belong in series. I still think they have a good chance to get back to Houston for game 7 if they play their game.

Normally I cheer for the Texas teams, but I find that - outside of Matt Barnes, who's just a punk - I like the Clippers more.

That's still the best solution. Yeah, some find it boring. It's still less boring than kneel-downs in football, or intentional walks in baseball - at least there's some drama over if the guy hits the shot or not.

Old fashioned Clipper ships vs. space Rockets.....hmmmmm are they fighting a battle, what kind of weapons do the Rockets have? I would think if they had any type of weapons they would destroy a Clipper........

I assume you are talking about the Kyle Korver slide in the closing seconds of Game 4. Despite popular opinion and statements by the sports media, Korver did not travel. NBA Rule 10, Section XIII, describes which situations are travelling and which are not. Subsection e reads as follows:
Korford slid while coming to a stop, then passed the ball just before hitting the ground. If sliding had given him an advantage, such as by helping him get around or past a defender, it would have been travelling. But that was not the case. If anything, the slide hurt him and made the pass more difficult. The referees got it right, and the league office has issued a report confirming that this was a correct no-call ("CNC") .

For those who think the league is just protecting its own, the same report indicates that the refs made an incorrect no-call ("INC") on a screen about a minute earlier. When they think a call is wrong, they say so. The travelling call was not wrong.

No I meant Horford in game 5 when he grabbed that late rebound under the basket. Without dribbling he then stepped with both feet to position himself out from under the rim to hit the winning layup.
