...can we at least get rid of the organists and those whiny, obnoxious voiced hypsters who pitch those stupid 'games' between innings? Losing is bad enough, but to have all that crap dumped into the game experience doesn't help.

Exactly. But Patterson, and Plonsky before him, are trying to turn Disch-Falk into a minor league baseball atmosphere with all those mid-inning silly antics on the dugouts and the sound at record decibel levels. Next thing we know, Rocket Man will show up there. Patterson said in an email to me that he wants to attract the young crowd, so, like in football, he doesn't give a **** about those who have supported UT sports for decades. All he wants is more revenue. I pray for the day that somebody above him figures out that he is incompetent at the college level, that he is pure Evil, had a whole TWO YEARS of college athletic experience at a TIER TWO athletic program before he came to Texas, that Bill Powers must have been on heroine when he decided to hire the ******, and then cans Patterson's sorry ***.
It's hard for his superiors to be disgruntled when their Athletic Dictator is holding a much improved income statement in his hand. Only way for that not to happen is loyal fans/customers refuse to go along with his gouging increases and unreasonable policies. Our continued renewals will lead to "guess it wasn't that big of a deal to them, good call Stevie Boy". It's shameful that longtime, loyal supporters have been forced into this position by their own university. Choosing between continued financial support of their beloved sports teams or not allowing a ruthless "johnny come lately" to treat them like garbage after all 3 major teams regress to mediocrity. Unjustified price increases, charged parking, no-resale, parking garage removing prime tailgate spot, trademark theft attempts, Disney, DJ's, China, etc....this guy is dismantling our pride and tradition at breakneck speed. All the contempt falls upon Patterson, for now. The longer his ruthless, greedy tactics drag out, we'll assume the university supports his revenue growth slights, regardless of donor treatment. I pray they can this clown before my finger points above SP.

I don't like mid-inning antics...it's cheap, tacky and embarrassing. When I was little, in the late 50s, my Granddad and I would go out to old Burnett Field and watch the Dallas Eagles which became the Dallas Rangers about 1960, I can't remember. Then the real treat was to ride the train to Kansas City 2 or three times each summer to see the A's and the Yankees. There was organ music between innings, but no crappy antics and gimmicks.
AND.........I DO NOT like that rocket man shtick!! I wish they would get rid of that. I like the flyovers especially when they have the WWII planes which is rare.
