I may have said this before, but I coached Shane's older brother, Garrett (he liked to be called "Boo" just like his dad) in select baseball. He pitched, played 3rd, and was our best hitter - big for his age and had a strong arm and powerful bat. Really good kid. Can't wait for Shane to get to the 40.
Competitors. Leaders. These are the qualities we desperately need. Hope this kid brings it in spades.
