Scheduling quirk for final weekend series

So it looks like this team’s only hope for a regional berth now is to win the Big 12 tournament. As if the odds weren’t already stacked against them, our final series against Baylor ends with a double-header on Sunday, May 17th, just three short days before the tourney begins. And Oklahoma State, Tech, TCU and Oklahoma all have series that final weekend that begin on Thursday night and end on Saturday, so their pitchers will enjoy an extra day of rest. All I can say is, WTF?

 

I think it has something to do with final exam schedules at Baylor or Texas.

 

I dont think a quirky schedule is what will keep this team from getting in.

 

Bingo. UT's finals start Wednesday, 5/13, and go through Tuesday, 5/19, excluding Sunday, 5/17.

 

they could have finals beginning weekend after Easter and it wouldn't matter, nor would spotting us a 3 run lead in each game--we are DOOMED!!!!!!
