I just watched 'Wild' and was going to read your review, but didn't find it. Anybody else have thoughts about the movie? It was a good movie, but I found that I really wanted more of a hiking story about the people she met along the way and the challenge of hiking by yourself for a long period of time. The parts I enjoyed the most in the movie were her interactions with the other hikers on the trail. I realize this was adapted from the mega selling book, and was about dealing with her past and discovery of herself though.
I liked the film. My wife had read the book and suggested we watch it. Fast Fred has been here once in a while. I always like his reviews.
Fast Fred is a long time HF poster and expert movie critic. I doubt you could name a movie he has not seen at least once. He has posted here more off than on, than he has in the past... not sure why.
I saw "Wild" on video and thought it was OK. Haven't seen anything recently at a theater except "Avengers: Ultron" and didn't write a review. Didn't like this sequel that much. Thanks for your interest.
