Priest Holmes is one of 95 current or former UT athletes getting their degrees this weekend. Congratulations Big Man!

While the pictures of him going "over the top" against Carolina stick with most people, for me him shredding those lard *** Black Shirts in St. Louis will always be a favorite memory!

Good for Priest. That game he had against NU was one of my favorite memories of him as a Horn.

Congratulations to one of the finest individuals to ever wear the Burnt Orange. Really a class human being. If anyone has that article published about him in the Baltimore Sun, please post a link.

He should be working in the athletic department as an example of no entitlement, no whining, hard work overcoming lots of adversity.

Both Lewis and Priest were running straight towards us in that endzone! Three Burnt Orange dots in a sea of red. Other than the game in Pasadena, my favorite game ever!

Yes, a good guy who made it via hard work, talent, and intelligence.

Anyone else read the article a year or so about him? It said that he suffers from paralysis, sometimes can’t move his body at all when he wakes up in bed, and during the interview, was unable to move his legs, but was too polite to tell the reporter during the interview.

These were brought on by the concussions he had while playing, including a story he told of how was knocked out of a game, and sat through most of the 4th quarter on the bench. When he recovered, he got up to extort his team mates to get up and fight, the game was still winnable (the Chiefs were down by a TD or so when he was knocked out), only to be told by someone else that they were now down by 3 or 4 TD’s. He’d sat there for 30 minutes unable to remember anything that was happening around him.

Scary and sad events for our need to watch people run around with inflatable balls.
