I thought I might as well start the thread and see what happens. We can discuss things as they go or don't go till the game is played or cancelled.

It's not Baylor or Texas Tech anymore. What has transpired during the tournament so far, has all happened during the regular season for the Horns. Beating Texas Tech, with French pitching, done that. Beating Baylor twice, done that.

What Texas didn't do in the regular season, was beat OSU. This is going to be a tough game to win, if the bats don't come to life and make it a lot easier. It's a virtual home game for the Cowboys, they are under no pressure to win, as they are hosting a regional, regardless of outcome. They won the toss and are the home team in reality for the game also. OSU has certainly been the better offensive team, all season.

Texas has to win, to advance to a regional. Parker French is starting on short rest, after a 120 pitch complete game who knows what he can do, or how long he can go. Both teams have not used much of their bullpen, Texas hasn't used any relief pitching. OSU has some options, as to who starts on the mound, it will interesting to see how they go about piecing nine or five innings of pitching together.

Of course there is no guarantee of even playing the game, due to weather. Five innings have to played before 11 pm. It's a waiting game, radar shows more rain is about to move into Tulsa, so they can't take the tarp off, for the teams to take infield and batting practice. I would think batting practice will not happen today.

Just have to keep an eye on the various media outlets and see how it goes.

    Promo for the game.

The game is supposed to be televised on Fox Sports 1, don't how the weather delays would affect that. The audio is

The Texas lineup has been posted and it has freshman, right hander, Kyle Johnston, as the starter, not French. This has to be a concern, because Augie said that French, felt good and would start.

You hope that French hasn't had his arm tighten up and that he can still be used today.

They did take the tarp off and are working on the field, don't know how wise that is, as more rain is moving in.

More craziness from the Big 12, they have us facing Oregon State on the stats page, wonder how long before they change it, or why this happened.

They finally wake up and change it to OSU.

I didn't catch pre-game coverage, so maybe it was covered, but given the weather, might this be to preserve a solid arm in case there is a weather delay somewhere after the game started? After all, with as much rain as could come later in the day, it would help prevent the situation of going an inning and then having a two-hour rain delay and then having to HOPE he got loose again...

Tyler Buffett, a right hander warms up, as he will start the game, for the Cowboys. The game will start, but radar shows it could start raining again very soon.

Ben Johnson step in batting right handed, we are playing baseball, for the Big 12 Championship.
He has struggled in the Tournament and it would really help, if he can come out of it.
A liner up the middle and it's through, for a lead single, the catalyst is on, for the Horns.

Baker bats righty, with one on.
He squares twice and can't get the bunt down, so with two strikes he sends a fly ball to right center, for one away.

Hinojosa bats righty, with one on and one down.
A high foul pop, behind the plate is caught by the catcher, for two gone.

Barrera bats righty, with one on and two outs.
Johnson should be on the move, if he can read the pitcher.
A pitch deemed by the home plate umpire, to have caught the outside corner, is a called strike three, to retire the side.

Texas with no damage, OSU comes in to bat.

Gage Green, the left fielder, leads off, batting left handed.
A liner off the end of the bat, is right to Marlow, at second, for the first out.

Cory Hassel, the right fielder, bats righty, with an out.
A big curve ball is taken, over the heart of the plate, the backwards K is two down.

The shortstop, for OSU, is Donnie Walton, batting righty, with two outs.
A half swing blooper to right center, drops for a single, the first runner of the game, for the Cowboys.

    Another chance, for the lead.
I lose my video, as the rain starts in northeast Texas, the Red River is out of it's banks here, for the first time, since 1990.
The video is back, just in time for single up the middle, that plates Johnson.

    Texas leads 1-0.
