Found these player evaluations for May 2015 AAU tourneys: 2016 "Alecia Sutton (Missouri Phenom Napheesa) – is a dynamite 2016 5’8” point guard and can do it all: she is extremely quick, has tremendous court vision and can score from anywhere on the floor. Sutton has range well beyond the three-point line on her jump shot. She is a great on ball defender, who will be a true difference maker at the next level." "Another player who makes a major impact on the game is Alecia Sutton. The 5’8” junior guard for Missouri Phenom-Collier and Parkway North High School in St. Louis has all the tools necessary to be a star at the next level. She will get that opportunity on the big stage, as she has made a verbal commitment to play at the University of Texas. She has an incredible first step and is a difficult matchup for opponents. Sutton might be one of the best on-the-ball defenders in her class, and is a clear difference maker on defense. Her pull and pop off the break is dangerous; she is a true game-changer and leader with a tremendous amount of work ethic." 2020 "Deja Kelly (South Texas Hoyas Blue): is a 5’8” 2020 point guard; she was playing with and against prospects three to four years older than her, but still controlling the game from her position. Kelly has strong handles, scores well from the mid-range and finishes through and over contact with consistency. She can see the floor and knows how to get the ball to right teammate at the right time. Kelly is a high level prospect in the 2020 class."
Glad to hear to comments about Alecia's 3pt shooting. Don 't recall her 3pt % being that good last season. Love the comments about her overall game and defense. Kelley sounds like she will be something special as well. PG really looks solid for the next few years.
Found this about Sedona Prince (2018 commit) at U16 Team USA Trials: "Sedona Prince is a kid that seemingly always gets better! The interesting thing about that statement is that 2018 player has been good for a long time. The 6'5 post showed toughness in securing rebounds on the defensive end and scored using deft footwork on the offensive side. Her soft hands allow for her to make plays in traffic by being physical on the catch, yet possessing a feathery touch to finish off the glass."
Sedona Prince, as well as former commits Didi Richards and Charli Collier, made the first cut at the U16 trials.
from Bret McCormick: Sedona Prince 6-6 C 2018 Faith Academy Liberty Hill TX & Texas commit is a super impressive post. She has footwork inside & face up is sweet
The following Texans make the cut to 40: 154 Desiree Caldwell G 5-6 260 Charli Collier F 6-4 177 Alexis Gordon F 6-1 153 Alexis Morris G 5-6 255 Sedona Prince C 6-7 182 Deauzya “DiDi” Richards F 6-0 270 Jade Williams F
Would love to see Sedona make the team - tremendous honor for her and the experience would be incredible. Based on what I've read, she seems to have a good chance - her combination of height and skill is awfully tough to come by. By the way, do you know if Gordon is seriously considering the Longhorns?
well, I would have to think that Gordon, at this stage, is at least looking at Texas along with Baylor and A&M. Considering how good she seems to be, the coaching staff is sure to be aware of her and probably has had a chance to scout her, especially since her high school is in the Fort Worth area, close to where Lauren Cox plays.
Sedona Interview at Trials: http://www.usab.com/basketball/media/videos/2015/05/wu16-trials-sedona-prince.aspx
Sedona Prince makes the 12 member team...Huge honor! Former commits Charli Collier and Didi Rchards did not make the team. Other Texans on the team include Lexi Gordon, Jade Williams and Desiree Caldwell.
Great job to be named to the squad. This can only help her be better by the time she comes to Texas. That video is impressive. She has some nice handles close to the basket and seems to be able to finish strong inside against contact.

Thanks for posting the list. Roster evenly distributed between 2017 and 2018, with six from each class. Interestingly, only 6 states represented. Texas leads with 4, California next with 3, Ohio has 2 and one each for Missouri, NJ and NY.
Saw Didi Richards retweeted this - I recognize Sedona, Didi and Charli. Anybody know who's sporting the Longhorn cap?
Not sure. It kind of looks like Zarielle Green, DFW Elite, and Duncanville player and class of 2018. But I don't think she competed at the trials; I guess she could have been in attendance even if she wasn't trying out.
Thanks for the info, between the gear and the Duncanville connection, UT is probably in pretty good shape.

That’s pretty good bragging rights for the TAPPS schools.
