Went running with the dogs this morning. I would classify the weather as "partly muggy with a 90% chance of insects."

    WorsterMan SEC here we come!!

I love Texas too but tons-o-rain the last couple of months in North Texas has exploded the skeeter population up here. I think most of the state needs a couple of weeks of uninterrupted sunshine to dry out some.

I say let the rains come until the lakes fill up. I hate mosquitoes, but if it's the price to pay for water, I'll take it.

Wind chill is 42 here in the Chicago area right now. Wish I needed some bug spray right about now.

That's just so weird. You could tie a knot in a frito here.

Tornado warnings and 4.25" of rain in the last two hours in North Austin right now.
Make that 4.5" this afternoon, with some parts of Austin getting over 6" this afternoon. Another Memorial Day flood, with Bull Creek and Williamson Creek areas of concern.
Lots of tornado warnings, but so far, sketchy confirmation of some small tornados. Quite a day so far.
The mosquitos should be in full force after this.

Even when we have months of uninterrupted sunshine it's still humid, and mosquitos and fire ants manage to get everywhere anyway.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

It's all relative. The pleasant temps you can have here are overshadowed by nights like the next two coming up. Supposed to get down in the lower 40s both nights. It's late May for crissakes. :whiteflag:

We went to a carnival today, believe me, I had one on. Colder than a well digger's *** out there!
