Thanks NB and Orangeblood. Hell's comment confused me, and now NB's menu has me craving food that is not available where I am this week. Bangers and mash and beer is the closest I can do on Tuesday.

Just because ESPN3 is broadcasting the game doesn't necessarily mean the LHN will too. It wouldn't surprise me if LHN showed a "classic" football game instead this Friday afternoon. They've pulled that kind of crap before.

EDIT: I don't know if she knows what the hell she's talking about, but here's a reply I just received from Candice at ESPN.com:
Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for any inconvenience. This game will be on ESPN3 only. If you
have any other questions or concerns please feel free to reply back. For live assistance with this or any other issue, please call Customer Care at: 1-888-549-3776 (ESPN) between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. EST.

And they don't always advertise that a show will be shown on the LHN as well as on ESPN3. I will wait til Friday to see if it comes up on the LHN, if not, there's ESPN3.

ECU is in middle of nowhere. Can't imagine ECU hosting over Texas for a super.

That would be a long bus ride.

I look forward to your analysis of the teams in the regional. Oregon State's pitching staff looks downright scary, statistically. And their road trip sweep of Stanford, along with beating California badly in 2 of the 3 games, makes me nervous.

Has DBU designated which is the home dugout yet?

The ladies softball regional was not listed on the Longhorn Network, but there it was. Everything said ESPN3, and lo and behold LHN had it!!!!!

I would think the home dugout, would be whatever dugout DBU uses during the season.

ESPN 3 is a part of guess who. LHN is an affiliate of ESPN and if there are no blackout restrictions, they can broadcast that feed. It could a more strict blackout rule for these regionals, will have to see, as the game gets closer.

LHN has to wait and see if they can broadcast games like these, they can't schedule or promote it, till they find out, if it's blacked out.

The host school has to sign off on this also, you wouldn't think it would be a problem, but you never know.
