Yep. My wife and I followed him first round of the John Deere Classic 2 years ago. I told her he was going to be a star. Then he wins 3 days later and hasn't looked back. Hook 'em!

Side note about hook 'em. Not as amiable a guy, unfortunately, is Justin Leonard. I actually heard him say in an interview he doesn't like it when Texas fans say that, it puts the negative thought of hooking the ball in his head. Whatever, he plays a draw all the time, anyway.

    Back on topic, go Jordan!

Way to go Jordan! I'm sick of the talk about the sleazes three putt on 18. Jordan three putted 17 or the dipsh** would never have had a shot!

We need a Jordan Spieth forum, like they did with Tiger on sports pages.

Agree. The mental aspect of golf cannot be understated, and DJ is reputed to be a mental midget and unable to handle the pressure like Spieth. So, I am sick of the "Poor DJ" crap as well.

ESPN asked Jordan's coach about the US Open and he said "Yesterdays news, we're in Scotland now"! ******* awesome!!!!!!!!!

Jordan should use the stinger approach that Tiger used at St Andrews. Worked out ok for him! Should work for Jordan. Let the bombers bomb away!

Speaking of tigger, he shot a 66(-4) today on a course where half the field shot equal to or better, and the ******* media is orgasming!

This could help Jordan in winning the British Open and becoming the #1 golfer in the world.

Hmmm, like I need distractions during meetings. Sold! Consider it done.

was impressed by his honoring a commitment to the tourney that helped give the original impetus to the pro career...not so impressed by the media giving him grief for not having flown across the pond to get in practice rounds on a links course.

Guess the media missed the day in class when they taught that a Texas boy's word is as good as gold...

I recommend waiting till Thursday snek, unless you want some golf tips from a golf instructions show.

NB, I need way more than tips and instruction. My greatest skill in Golf is my ability to track down my ball. (no Lance Armstrong Uniballer jokes) since I have so much practice looking for it.

That is the way it is looking. Nothing but a couple of practice rounds to get the week layoff out of his system.

Looks sort of like he is trying to make a move today...perhaps he just wanted to give the field a fighting chance. After all, he was only 8 shots off the lead which is something his skillset seems capable of carving into across three rounds.

four under today through 10...and up to a tie for 30th. Projected cut is currently expected to be -3...

(and yes I am aware that yesterday's leaders still have yet to tee off)

and now showing -6 though 11...good for tenth place at the moment. Leader is at -10 for the tournament and -3 for the day through 14.

It's that type of course. I think four players shot 8 under 63's yesterday for the lead.
A couple of those haven't teed off yet today. Someone will most likely shoot another good score to take the lead at -12 to -13.

It usually takes around -20 to win the tournament, unless bad weather intervenes.

Spieth was a little off yesterday, as he was shaking off the rust of a layoff. Looks like he is back on track and is now -7 after 15 holes. He will need a couple more good rounds to win.

It has to be hard to concentrate on this tournament, with what looms ahead next week.

gave a shot back but finishes tied for 9th at the moment with a -7...leader in the clubhouse at the moment went -5 and is at -10 for the two days.

Like I said in Post #2, I told my wife 2 years ago at this very tournament he was going to be a PGA superstar.
