As a kid I did not have the respect for Star Trek I probably should have. It came on way past my bedtime and did not see many episodes but those I did I thought they were awesome. Most likely the fact I was watching a show way past bed time made it a bit cooler in my perception. I got way more into Battlestar Galactica and to a lesser degree, Buck Rogers. I knew that Wilma and the evil lady were hot, hot, hot even back then. Lost in Space, what a gem of a show. A gem, I tell you.
I preferred this intro to the original but thought this show was hot **** though I did not get to see many episodes. Thanks to youtube I can revisit them.
Just paged through and revisited this old thread - can't believe that no one mentioned "Columbo" as a great oldie. About three years ago, my son bought the DVD set of all the Columbo episodes as a Christmas present for me - now that was a great present!
