This guy is just so nasty on the blues guitar. Amazing tone and feel for the music.

A shame people slept on this. Don't know I have ever heard it here in Austin. I will find it in a dig someday, just you watch.

My buddy in northern Italy (Tivoli) was explaining what "good-menschen" (Gutmensch) means when talking today about Germany and the immigrant crisis. Made me think of this song (the meaning is the song title, loosely) so I went with it

Wow, listened to that today on XM Satellite Radio. Weird that the post has that song with the cover of Meat Is Murder, which it is not on. I think the only song starting with B on that album is Barbarism Begins At Home. Love, love the Smiff's. Nice up.

And above, I was had at Gang of Four. Yay Adam Ant.

Just heard Gary Richrath, lead guitarist of REO Speedwagon passed away on Monday. Had some good songs before turning to pop ballads in the '80s.

Not a technical category fit, but sort of in the same ballpark (people singing :smile1:)
    Ariana Grande may be a donut-licking, America-hater, but she's also a good diva-imitator

Something got me to humming this song this morning so I YouTubed and played it while eating my breakfast. Dead simple drums and saxophone break. Probably only geezers like me will remember it but I really liked this song back in the day. It always made me mad they wouldn't let that girl come to the party.

That's Jacob Bonham on drums. I wonder how many of the R&R greats could be done with orchestration and choir ?

If loving electric Dylan is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.
