C.O. Brocato longtime scout for the Oilers and then Titans passed away at the age of 85 in Nashville, TN. Responsible for scouting Earl Campbell ("he's as fast as he needs to be") Mike Munchack and Bruce Matthews and a host of other stars for both franchises he was well respected in NFL circles. He was a legend here locally (Shreveport, LA) as alumni and head coach at St.Johns/Jesuit High School (my old high school) where he won a AA state title in 1967. He graduauted from St. Johns in 1949 and was All-SWC at Baylor before he went on to coach at St.Johns/Jesuit (became Jesuit in 1960) from 1958 to 1967.
