Michigan only had three players selected in the 2015 draft

Clearly the cupboard was bare, so I hope Michigan fans will be patient. Jim Harbaugh is a good man who will need at least a season to “clean house” and start laying a foundation. In three or four years, when he finally has “his” players, the Wolverines should finally start getting some quality wins and, uh…eh, what’s that? Michigan is already 4-1? With their only loss (17-24) coming in Week 1 against a Utah team that beat Oregon 62-20 in Eugene last week? And they’ve since delivered four beatdowns in a row to their opponents? Well then…never mind!

Very good chance he wins the B1G. He's that kind of coach. Puts no limits on anything. His sense of timing is now. As head coach, turned around four straight programs.
UC San Diego (interesting read on Wiki about his stint there)
    Stanford --'nuff said
49er -- 'nuff said, Pt Deux
Michigan -- off to a good start

Michigan has given up 14 points since the Utah loss. That's an average of 3.5 points a game. Thats damn impressive whoever you're playing.

Don't fool yourself into thinking "they haven't played anyone." The truth is that Harbaugh is the best of the best. Michgan plays as a disciplined, well coached, mistake free team, which has been missing in Ann Arbor for over a decade. And this is with years of sub par recruiting under Brady Hoke. Imagine what Harbaugh will do with top recruiting classes.

The truth is that Michigan was in much worse shape when Harbaugh took over as opposed to Strong.

They haven't played anyone. Just because it's a d1 school doesn't make them a talented team. You must be impressed with baylors out of conference schedule as well

Admittedly, Michigan's best win is a 31-0 victory over BYU, the team that gave us a 41-7 beatdown in Austin last year (it's convenient to have a common opponent for comparisons). Michigan was up 31-0 at halftime in their game, by the way, before taking their foot off the gas pedal...

Jim Harbaugh can't control who the AD put on the schedule 5-10 years before he arrived. What he CAN do is win the games that his two predecessors would have for sure lost. Just like Baylor does. Just like Ohio St has done.

No one is saying that Harbaugh is going to win the MNC. Not one is saying he's going to win the BIG. But you act like he hasn't done ANYTHING.

I can tell you WHAT he's doing. He's fielding a team that doesn't makes the multiple mistakes that our team currently makes. He's fielding a team that is unquestionably better than last years team. He's having a great recruiting haul so far compared to Strongs nightmare. He has players that respect him, not ones that tweet about transferring while they're actually playing in the middle of a game.

Time will tell. He still has to play Michigan St and Ohio St. But I'm pretty sure he'll have his team ready and prepared to be competitive

all that said still changes nothing, and comparing them to us doesnt help much either look at our schedule so far one of the toughest in all college football now look at who michigan has played how many ranked undefeated teams compared to us? That's like Texas bragging about beating rice

Ok you're not sold in any improvements at Michigan. Then I'll make it more real and pertinent to your way of thinking:

    Jim McElwain at Florida.

Injuries killed Florida not lack of talent those guys had to start walk ons and practice squad players that's all they had left

Well if that was the case, Florida should have given Muschamp another year. And speaking of decimating injuries, that's what everyone was saying about TCU. Interesting.

The truth is that Muschamp made Florida a worse dumpster fire than what Meyer left him.

He had what 4 years and 1 losing season in that time. I agree that deserves more time but people push the panic button way to fast sometimes.

Tcu's injuries were mainly on the defensive side of the ball Florida had them at just about every position but when you offense like tcu does that can score 50 a game easily you have a chance to win no matter what and defense in the big 12 cmon dude is basically non existent at this point if you can get a few 3 and outs in conference and maybe a turnover you had a good game on that side of the ball. And if he left it suck a dumpster fire how are they winning now ???? Maybe because his players are finally healthy remember they went 11-2 under muschamp his second season and then they started to drop like flies look it up dude

Muschamp went 11-2 his FIRST season and lost to Louisville, coached by your favorite coach. The problem with Florida under Muschamp is the same we're having now. Undeveloped QB's with poor lines, no discipline, multiple mistakes, etx. DUDE, I have family that graduated from Florida, I'm a bit more familiar with their situation than what Wikipedia says.

Charlie's your guy. Enough said. Enjoy !

Wrong he went 11-2 the second year familiar with the program my but looks like you need. Wiki not me I actually watch the sport and not jump on band wagons like lol and of course the qb's were undeveloped they where backups because the starter got hurt all the time then the back up got hurt. And what does Charlie Texas tcu and Florida even have to do with this convo anyway don't change the subject just because you finally noticed the team and coach you are so hype about have been beating up on trash cans

Going back to Harbaugh, I'll stand corrected if he gets beat by 30+ points at home by Michigan St and Ohio St.
