Wow a 5 star and a 4 star DT committed to Houston. Hopefully Texas can bring in some more big DTs.

 

Actually, Elliott decommitted from Houston - my bad for not updating. He's leaning our way presently.

Oliver has scheduled OVs to 3 or 4 big time programs (not us ) so he's shaky at best.

 

Higdon suggested he was coming to Austin

 

I'm really wondering about this recruiting situation.. it just feels like there's not enough wind in the sails....

 

If Heard can keep it going and our team can make it look explosive and exciting to play for Texas then the recruits will want to come here.

 

Sounds like DT Alex Norman re-injured his back and will give it up

I doubt that Santos and Evans come back. Get 6 of them.

 

We are whiffing on DLs (OL too for that matter)

The known DEs we are after are Rahssan Thornton, Erick Fowler, and Antonneous Clayton (Georgia).

Higs says DT Stephon Taylor has moved on (as of our TCU performance)
EJ Holland, however, thinks we still have a shot.

Either way, Jordan Elliott is clearly a must.
Southall also still a maybe

 

These guys will get to play early and often. That should be a big selling point.

 

If we can get some momentum this year, we'll be fine.
