    Easy,

Let's not be too hasty. Of our televised games, Walt Anderson allowed:

Dan Romero (reject from California, who is a dentist) to do our game

Alan Eck (CPA working for medical equipment finance company in Atlanta) the referee in our game with oSu did one

Reggie "why are doing BigSky not BigTen" Smith from Philadelphia to do another.

Allowing those three to do any game much less nationally televised games, just re-enforces Anderson's arrogance and his thought that he is more important than the conference.

I did not see the Iowa State game, so I figure that either Greg "Walleye" Burks or Scott Novak (dentist from Colorado Springs) did that one. Anderson did assign Mike Defee to one of the televised games rather than to do the Sam Houston (Anderson's alma mater) vs SFA game.

Again, Anderson was hired by Donnie Duncan, and this collection of clowns (Defee excluded) is the result. We all know who and what Duncan is, and why he is no longer employed in Las Colinas.

There were twenty three (23) ACCEPTED penalties in the OSU-KSU game. Worse than that group of SWC officials that only knew one call when you played Rice of Cougar High (pass interference) or WBB official Sue Kennedy that only called traveling. Always enjoyed watching Barbara Jordan stare her down from the scorer's table.

    Dawg,

The crew to which you refer included back judge Jim Evans, worst official in SWC history. He was a Baylor guy and Abner McCall's parting gift to the SWC. He was so bad that eight of nine SWC coaches gunned him and the conference office overruled it. Having major marital problems weren't helping his ability to focus.

After the infamous University of Third Ward game, where Lawrence Sampleton looked like he had been "jumped in" some third ward gang, we adjourned to the Marriott at Braeswood and Greenbriar. Unfortunately that is where they were staying. The entire crew walked in. I called JD over and told him I knew we had had major differences, and I was his biggest critic, but as his "friend" I was giving him 30 seconds to get Evans stupid *** out of my line of sight.

JD wasn't very good, and Shorty Lawson was absolutely horrible. At least they were all on the same crew. Anderson has so many pathetic excuses for officials, that they can't all be on the same crew unless they convert to 45-50 man crews.

So two games in a row Oklahoma State gets the benefit of incomprehensible awful calls that help them win a game they might have lost otherwise. Is Pickens reaching deeper into his coffers this year or something?
