Well, that's good. Was it out of frustration, or pride that others wanted him to transfer?

 

Good. The young guys are going to have to buy in to the idea that right now, they may have to take some lumps. This year's going to be brutal, and unless some serious development/help comes on both the OL and DL, it's not getting much better next year.

 

Someone wrote in the SID's office wrote it for him; so it tells us nothing about where he is. 18 year old males do stupid things so a week in the pit in addition to regular workouts might dent his thick skull.

As I read it, I was thinking the same thing. I don't think he learned to write or speak that way at Gilmer HS. When Bill was SID, he had enough sense to make it sound like the kid originated it. If the kid wrote that by himself, he's off to Plan II in the morning.

 

Accepted, move on we don't need this distraction we got too much to deal with already.

 

I was thinking the same thing. He seems to be one of Heard's favorite targets, though, so I hope he means it.

 

Whether he wrote it or not, or some one cleaned up what he wanted to say, I for being done with the issue and move on to the next game. He's still suspect though.

 

Hopefully he was informed that he just had an apology written for him between rounds of running steps at DKR, followed by several 100 yard crabs then maybe a few suicide runs. That should make his thumbs too tired to tweet anymore.

kris had a tendency to RT everything sent his way during the recruitment process.

i'd be pretty surprised if he actually took the time to read the tweet before he RTd it. my sense is that he just did it blindly.

i have a soft spot for kris. he's had a tough life up until now. i want him to have good things in life. hopefully he and the team are able to put this behind them.

 

This should be everyone's want, but the kid has to start showing some maturity.

 

i agree there. but him having a bit of a lack of maturity right now doesnt surprise me. he's got a lot of growing up to do and it wasnt all going to happen in one year.

 

Apparently he is well known as an extreme high-volume social media guy

 

If he can live with the consequences, let him tweet all he wants - but not during a game.

I think this may be true - and I remember when reading it, I was a little confused about what he was actually trying to say. He didn't reply to it, just retweeted an invitation for him and others to come on over. I do think some kids are on Twitter "auto-retweet" just so they can get more people to look at their posts. I'm not convinced he did it with the idea that "yeah man, I'm out of here next year."
