While UCLA is gaining some highly-regarded recruits on National Signing Day, it may also be losing its defensive coordinator.

Wonder if the D recruits were aware of this? Doubt it.

Wasn't that the guy that got in a yelling match with Mora on the sideline?

If the recruits didn't know that, then he is a smarmy little *****.

I wouldn't have gone to UCLA simply because I saw those two fighting on the sideline. I want to play for coaches that are on the same page and can work together in a productive manner.

TCU's DC retired too. You can say, commit to a school all you want, but that's just ignorant of the recruiting process. These kids develop relationships with coaches, not school officials and professors. They get to see the actual campus very little. Some only at camps, but they gain trust and kinship with a coach or two over months, even years. If my kid was a defensive signee with UCLA I would be angry.

Considering his history, chances are Mora won't be there long either.

Does anyone know the defensive recruits options now?

    And then there's this:

"Florida: Defensive line coach Terrell Williams is accepting a job with the Miami Dolphins according to the Gators’ 247 site. Sports Illustrated reports Florida will hire Texas defensive line coach Chris Rumph to replace Williams. The AP has now confirmed both moves."

^^^ 12 hours after that report surfaced in sports illustrated, there is still no independent confirmation from anybody in Florida or Austin about this. Thayer Evans (who is least trustworthy on any story involving Texas) said a source told him. That's it. 247sports had a story an hour later saying it is not done yet, and Duvonte Lampkin, new DT signee had an immediate tweet - Getting off the phone with coach strong "coach rumph did not accept the offer"

So, this doesn't seem to be a done deal. I would wait.
