I would think that LHN is located in the Communication Department over by the Drag.

I wish it had been there when I was a student, I did work for Austin City Limits there, but to have a full Longhorn Sports Network there, would have been a dream come true.

Fred Akers showed the game film on a reel to reel each week over at Jester, for we students, when I was at UT. His wife worked at the Communication Department, I remember after one of those film sessions, I walked and talked with him all the way from Jester to the Communications Classroom building, just he and I. It was a very interesting chat, I asked him everything from coaching at Texas, after playing for Arkansas, to being Switzer's roommate at Arkie.

I thought the main studio sets for LHN are in the Communications Building too. The set in Belmont is for the pressers I believe.

If everyone recalls, when Strong was hired everyone said we don't care if he speaks well to the media as long as he wins on the field. Now he's 7-11 with several blowout losses and his interviews still sound like nails on a chalkboard. The lack of communication skills is not so easy to overlook when the on-the-field challenges seem just as overwhelming.

I noticed the same thing, horrible body language he might as well be Charlie Brown after Lucy had him whiff on the ball for the 10th time.

I agree that the Jay Norvell interviews are some of the best coach interviews I've seen. Seems like head coach material, at least as far as the interview part.
