In case you just stumbled onto Texas Women's Basketball: Imani (maiden name: McGee-Stafford) and Paul were married earlier this year. Imani is the daughter of USC basketball great Pam McGee and the sister of Dallas Mavericks' JaVale McGee.
Not at all, I just don't generally follow either of our basketball teams in the offseason. Didn't realize she was the same person as Imani McGee-Stafford. The first name should have given it away, but I just chalked it up to the same sort of weird coincidence that we had back when we had two different women named Erneisha (spelled differently though) on the team at the same time.
ah, there has been a slight name for one of the freshmen, who is now listed as Olamide Aborowa on the roster instead of Christina Aborowa, the name we followed her under during her recruitment. Heard the coaches calling her Mide at practice. From her bio: PERSONAL • Born Olamide Christina Aborowa on Nov. 18, 1996 in Lagos, Nigeria. • Daughter of Olaitan Elizabeth.
Gabby Ortiz FTAB12? Curious................. Looking forward to the season, this is where we get back to being a consistent player on the national stage.
