One of the things that the internet has allowed is a vehicle for Texas fans to publicly vent when games or seasons go bad. Sadly, many of them prefer to take out their frustrations by attacking fellow Texas fans. It's pretty pathetic but it happens every season.

The only time a fellow UT fan should be addressed concerning this debacle of a coaching staff is when they blindly support them! They don't needed to be attacked. They need serious psychiatric treatment.

What I take from that is they had 2 guys staying home as a spy covering nobody and still were able to keep any of our guys from getting open...

I don't mind that he didn't get the 1st down, I'll take 8 yards on 1st and 10. But watching it again, they were able to cover us despite the double-spy because we only had 3 players running pass patterns - we felt the need to keep 7 guys back to block for the QB despite nobody blitzing. And that feeling isn't without reason, sadly.

Foreman needs 25 carries preferably by the half.

The whole TCU debacle was a devious ploy.
Now OU thinks we are horrible and will just roll in thinking they can show up and win.
We have them right where we want them. :smokin:
    Hook'em!!

There will be glimmer and there will be hope, but unfortunately neither I think will be in Texas' future.

My glimmer is that we smashed ou in the mouth last year when nothing leading up to it indicated we would do that. We found a way to lose, but who knows, maybe they will smash them again tomorrow.

The only glimmer I see is Kansas. Also looking at the roster I do not see 14 freshmen starting.

Anyone who actually looks at the roster soon realizes all of our starters are not freshman and its another propaganda lie excuse like the ones used to defend shawn watson.

    WorsterMan SEC here we come!!

As I put my burnt orange flag with a Bevo on it out front of my house this morning, I was reminded of the 2013 season / game when everyone thought the Case McCoy led UT team was freakin' dog meat for the hordes in that land North of us.

    What happened that day?

An unexpected 36-20 *** BEATING of ou that was much worse than the score indicated.

Like past years when ou was supposedly better and UT won or tied that few saw coming that I recall: 1989, 1990, 1976, 1977, 2013 come to mind.

    I HATE ou!!!

Are those the clothes for pregame road trips that Charlie fought for w/Patterson? Much nicer than the warmups/sweats look for the men to get their business done. Now to graduate to more than looking the part, part.

I've watched this play many times and wonder about the call. You can only see two receivers so I am assuming that the third one, probably Burt, was running a deep pattern on the near side.

It looks like Foreman, #3, was also running a fly on the right or, if he had planned to cut it in, the DB's positioning forced the route change.

That leaves the slot receiver, Johnson, who looks to be running a slow developing, deep cross, 12-15 yards down. Perhaps the two wides couldn't get open but both patterns could be expected to take time to develop. A pass to # 7 would be risky because both of the LBs had dropped. What I am saying is that, for the play called, Heard appeared to have limited options and he made a good choice, without hesitating. In fact, that may have been the intention of the call. I would like for him to learn to dive forward for first downs when he is that close and when doing so appears to not be particularly dangerous. That is a flaw in his game that will be corrected.

Back to the play, I would prefer to have either more quick developing plays called or an outlet option.

With the luck this team has had this season, I am not sure that is the best spot to be standing
