Was not aware of most of these. My mind must have been on a lot of other things. The Guardian UK -- Glance: Airliners that have been shot down
Certainly the end for Malaysia Airlines, who was already having financial problems before Flight 370 vanished ...and now this. Apparently all commercial airlines were warned to avoid Ukrainian airspace before the incident today, so it seems particularly irresponsible on the airline's part. I certainly wouldn't count on rebels with a surface to air missile launcher capable of distinguishing between a military and commercial aircraft. I don't know if it's been confirmed yet, but I heard initial reports that there were twenty-three Americans on board Flight 17.
Do you think anyone believes that Russia is not supporting the Russian side in this trumped up affair? Of which begat this Airliner tragedy with 299 victims who should be compensated, their trusts at least, similarly and inflation adjusted as were the victims mentioned above? Russia needs to "man up" as Senator Feinstein says.
Seriously? It was shot down by a SAM. The launchers were Russian. The missile may have been fired by the "rebels" who were provided the launcher and training by Russia (and are probably Russian anyway). This is not a court of law (and there is no burden of proof), but there is pretty much zero evidence of any other cause of this incident.
So between a simple explanation and the bizarre conspiracy you go for the later? The "rebels" shot down Ukrainian transports with these SAMs or was this part of the cover up too?
