when TCU's backup QB didn't manage to float a pass to the wide open receiver to get the 2 and defeat o.u. I almost got my sword out of the closet to fall on.....ugh...

now, in this darkest of times I have to live with fear of o.u. winning the whole damn thing....ugh...

Yet many on here, not sure if you were amongst them, wanted ou to beat Baylor. Strange.

Look you have to give credit where credit is due. Barring an upset next week, OU has earned the right to choke their championship dreams away in the playoffs.

I, for one, will be rooting for the Oklahoma State Cowboys Saturday. I never want to see OU in the playoff.

Game is in Stoolwater. Mayfield is iffy. I'd put my money on OSU at this point. I haven't looked, but wondering if Vegas will pull the game until they hear more on Mayfield one way or another.

OU won't make the playoff even if they beat Okie State, mainly because our league has no championship game, and OU will have no way to improve that strength of schedule. The committee will take into account that OU beat Baylor with a backup qb and tcu with a backup qb.

I ALWAYS root for my LONGHORNS and whoever is playing o.u. (unless their winning secures us a spot in the national championship game or such)

    o.u. SUCKS!!!!!!!

Prodigal....I hope they somehow don't get that chance...and their loss to us keeps them out....vs. Notre Dame (who handed us our heads)

Same here! The vitriol, while deserved, toward Briles and Baylor, does not add up to me to pull for ou over Baylor last week.

I can't seem to care who wins this game. College football was once more about individual team rivalries. Now that the SEC and ESPN have shown that conference reputations raise playoff chances and recruiting hopes, simply having a good team to represent your conference is more important than whether or not any single team wins or loses.

OU is not that good this year..........They are over-rated but then again so is TCU and OSU......Baylor choked on the chicken.........Losing Russell was a pretty big deal.....
