Hey Interim AD, why not make it an attractive package deal for our devoted fans and their disposable income. Throw in tours of Little Big Horn and the remains of the Hindenburg, maybe some lunch, let’s make a day of it.

    Hook'em!

Joe, I just don't think that's true! We have the best baseball coach in the country, we have the most sought-after basketball coach in the country, and we hired a highly-regarded football coach who had absolutely NO talent at the 2 most strategic positions.....qb. and offensive line.
Things will get better. Hang in there!

No talent at QB or Offensive line? Was that a joke?

Anyway, I took a tour of DKR 7 years ago. It was free. It's cool, but not worth $10. It's a public facility owned by the state of texas so it should be free to tour like the State Capitol. Of course, what hasnt been overpriced with texas athletics?

nope....not a joke at all. We had/have no talent at qb (for a major college program), and our offensive line was very young and uninspiring when Strong arrived.

I guess talent had nothing to do with Heard runnint around for all those yards against Cal. Speed and elusiveness are not talents apparently.

Personally, I would say Heard's problems are inexperience and poor QB coaching (like learning when to throw the ball away). Others would call that "untalented."

He did great in his start against Cal. 1.) Cal has a horrible defense 2.) Cal had no idea what to expect from him 3.) it was at the beginning of the season. 4.) As soon as the word got out that Heard could not pass, everyone started shadowing him with 1 defender. Even his ability to run (as he can do) was stopped. There's a real good reason why we hesitate to ever call a passing play.

Baseball finished #3 in the country in 2013 playing in the CWS semifinals and won the Big 12 Tournament last year..... I do not think its fair to group them with the other 2 and act like baseball has not done anything recently. You should at least qualify baseball as last "regular season championship" was 2011.
