It was around this time last year that this site was going to end for good. We were even bombarded with people that came back to mock it's demise. Well a year later we are still here and bigger and better than ever! It took a lot of work by several people and support from many more. It's been a pretty tough sports year for the major sports, but I am thankful for this site to discuss all things Longhorn and other topics. It's a great community of people of various backrounds and locations, in other words "Texas Longhorns." That is the mission the University had in my day there and to this day. Bring people of all stripes into the fold, be tolerant and hear all the different points of view. Then in the end come together as Longhorns. Happy Thanksgiving Horns, wherever you are. Beat Tech and . Now I must get back to my smoker, the turkey and ham are off, but still have some Earl Cambell sausage and ribs going. I like traditional, but I am still a Texan too.
