Nebraska had a 4th and 1 on the Iowa 19 with over 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter down 28-17. Instead of kicking the field goal, Nebraska decided to go for it. Like Texas yesterday, they called a fade route. It did not work for Nebraska either.

So there are two offensive coordinators that believe in the fade route on 4th down.

I saw that and thought the same thing too. Two (former) national powers both finishing under .500.

Iowa did not convert a single 3rd down in their 28-20 win. How does that even happen?

Iowa is 12-0. Greg Davis has to get a lot of credit for that, whether they win another game or not.
