Irish should have beaten Clemson, had too many turnovers in the remnants of a hurricane.

The Irish must be kicking themselves.

OU with a 4 TD lead appears to have clinched a playoff spot barring a monumental collapse tonight.

We beat them and it wasn't really close. To me that indicates we have some talent on this team. Teams without talent would just get bowled over by sheer athleticism against OU.

So taking the conclusion that we have some good talent from above, combined with the results of the rest of the season, I have to conclude that our coaching is very very poor. Am I really saying anything controversial here? A 3rd season for this staff will probably be another nightmare.

ND hurt themselves bad in the last few seconds with that face mask penalty.

No doubt the penalty did the Irish in. 15 yarder! Ouch. Still, I have to give Stanford kudos for never giving up. Getting the ball back with only 30 seconds left and then doing what had to be done. Impressive.

Refs and review official did Irish in. If they would have ruled the ball down at the half yard line like it should have been, the Irish would have scored with just a few seconds left and Stanford would have not had the time to get down the field and score....

More like ND screwed themselves by trying to score so hard without running more clock.

Actually, I was sort of relieved and thought the same thing after the initial shock of the TD call standing. I thought, good, Stanford may have time to get a FG now. F the Domers.
