This season is pretty good so far. I can't believe who died last night...or did they die? They'd better not pull that individual back and say they somehow survived.

Lot of speculation about this issue. If the producers want to maintain the integrity of the show, its should be (gasp) a true death scene, as hard as that may be for devotees.

Things are looking bleak. Michonne's depleted group stumbles into what appears to be a desolate Alexandria. Rick is cornered by a horde of walkers in an RV.

Looks like Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham have to save the day.

Agreed. If this isn't a death sentence then it will be a "jump the shark" moment for the series.

I'm so upset that they're pulling this **** with that character because they are one of my favorites (along with Carl). Disrespects that character in my opinion.

Carl? I hate Carl. I will miss this character though.

Sometimes I try and call out for "Carl" the same way Rick does.
But I cant quite seem to get the British guy doing a fake Southern accent thing right

I actually think Andrew and Lennie have decent accents. Sometimes Andrew can overdo it, but it's usually spot on. Lauren Cohan on the other hand is just ridiculous.

Morgan's backstory was interesting. It at least filled in the gaps for how he went from being crazy to being a pacifist.

Is there any doubt that his pacifism will ultimately lead to more deaths though?

Were we just introduced to the next threat to Alexandria? That looks like a group separate from the Wolves. This group is armed and seemingly led by a "governor-like" leader.

They did it. They brought Glen back.

Alexandria has fallen. The question I have is why a survivor wouldn't walk around in zombie blood/guts ALL THE TIME if the zombies will simply disregard you?

Robert Kirkman said on the "Talkng Dead" that it wasn't practical because the zombie blood dries out and then it doesn't work.

You would have to go around gutting zombies all the time. Maybe if they ever do all those expansions at Alexandria, they can build a "walker slaughterhouse," and have some extra blood and guts on hand.

Why do walkers eat people? Do they exist longer if they do? Is walking around looking for people to eat all they do? Do they ever rest? What is the lifespan of a walker? Do they finally just totally deteriorate to nothing? The rules for zombies are so vague.

I thought if zombie blood got in you on a cut or whatever you would have problems.

They made a big deal out of Rick cutting his hand and then getting walker blood on it, in that that episode when he drove the RV. He kept looking at his hand and it they talked about it on the "Talking Dead."

    But nothing happened after that.

He also said the new next human threat group is called the "Saviors."

I saw that but don't buy it. If it's a matter of life and death, I'd learn to live with walking around in a fresh zombie meat suit made each day.

So, does anyone else get the feeling that the "town on the hill" is not to be trusted? Why wouldn't Rick and company ask more questions to understand what they are taking on in this "Nagby" group? Seriously, it could be a community of hundreds of individuals. Those bikers they blew up were all well armed. In fact, it's likely they are out in search of Daryl and crew already.

You can't trust anybody, without stone cold proof, that is the theme that keeps resonating on this show. Well, unless your Morgan.

Rick has ways of changing minds and hearts and influencing people, take Alexandria. Oh wait he did take Alexandria, with his you got to kill them, before they kill you charm.

Carol is going to kill everybody, who pisses her off, after hyperventilating of course. If the show is ever going to kill her off, she will go down in a blaze of glory, like taking out all those Saviors with a suicide bomb.

She is a bad little cookie baking and rosary carrying woman, but now she has remorse, after killing people that need killing. "It doesn't have to be this way," she said.

Come on, it's the Walking Dead, it's got to be this way. Think the ratings would take a hit if Alexandria, the Hilltop, and the Saviors all just decided, to just live together in peace.

We can't have everybody joinging hands and singing Kumbaya. There are other crazy groups out there, yet to be encountered, not to mention several million walkers. So sharpen those knives and make those bullets Eugene, the violence is just getting started.

Nobody wants a kinder and gentlier Zombie Apocalypse, except Morgan.

Dang...I didn't want the season to end!
So, my son alerted me who Negan killed based on the comic book. I wasn't surprised and a little relieved since this character got an undeserved death reprieve in earlier episodes.

Speaking of Negan, they should have used Javier Bardem, the psycho killer with the air gun from No Country for Old Men. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is OK but still not quite the badass of Bardem.

That doesn't necessarily mean it will still be that character. The eye in the arrow death was a major character in the comic (still alive in the show), but they gave it to a less popular character in the show.

That said, (and even though it's one of my favorite characters), I do hope they keep it the same as the comics. Nobody minor deserves a death as big as this, and I also believe it's one of the only ways to get people to truly hate Negan.

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way on regular cable to make Negan as brutal as he is in the comics, so they have to make him scary based on his actions. I didn't feel that true Negan grit yet, but I'm hoping JDM will deliver next season.

Also, Scott Gimple is a huge turd.
