Looks like Johnny Football has sc***ed the pooch..........

If you don't believe you have hit rock bottom the moment you show up after enrolling at malfunction junction, then there is little hope for you ever to become a normal, productive member of society.

Unlike cary and snek, I do not believe the time has come to stop poking fun at aggy via Johnny Dumbass.

 

KXAS is reporting that the Dallas PD has reopened their investigation of the latest girlfriend incident. Also a judge has issued a Restraining Order keeping JFF away from the girlfriend.

 

He won't hit rock bottom till the money starts running out.

There will always be somebody wanting party down with him, as long as he has the big bucks.

That will stop, when he can't foot the bill any longer, for his bad behavior. So will all these girlfriends, that despite his pattern of abuse, keep lining up, for the position.

 

I found it slightly interesting that in the "good days" the parents were the enablers. Now the dad is begging for help for JFF. I hope the dad means that and the statement was just not a sound bite.

 

Unless he winds up in the hospital seriously injured from some sort of alcohol induced accident; or he harms himself and its not fatal; or someone nearly kills him after he goes off on them in an alcohol induced assault. Many factors could put him horizontal on the floor of rock bottom. Even prison, which could happen if he harms someone as a result of drunken behavior.

But hitting rock bottom doesn't mean he recovers. He could also live there until he dies.

 

Just announced on the news. There will be a criminal investigation into his recent episode. Law enforcement announced no charges a couple of days ago but maybe she decided to press charges. Might be the best thing for him. Lets say he gets probation and part of it is rehab.

 

Pretty bad when Charlie Sheen and Ryan Leaf can relate to you.

 

The problem with her deciding at this late date to press charges is that she appears to initially have been uncooperative with investigators, including a refusal to allow any alleged injuries to be viewed and photographed to preserve the record. Any competent defense counsel could have a field day with that one.

And, if they are having trouble getting Johnny Clipboard to go to rehab willingly, I don't envision ANY scenario where he would agree to accept a probation offer that was conditioned upon completion of the SAFP curricula.

 

1. It can continue for a long time after the money runs out.
2. It can also end suddenly at anytime.
3. He will stay the same until the pain of doing so becomes greater than the pain of changing.
Number 3 will only come to pass if number 2 does result in death, which is a distinct possibility. I write from first hand experience on some of the above and from working with dozens of other alcoholics on the rest of the above.
Several things are working against him, his youth, his money and being a spoiled rich kid.

 

FYI it was not a restraining order which is a civil court document in Texas. It was an EPO Emergency Protective Order which is a criminal court document. If JFF violates an EPO he goes to jail while a restraining order is merely a fine.

 

I concur but seeing what the Dad saying no one (the cops) will help lead me to believe it's a sound bite. Just my 2 cents.
