This is a big game for staying in the hunt for conference champ. I think Texas wins today with solid D.
4 TOs. We look flat and uncomfortable. Haven't seen Roach yet. I sure do hope he's our bench support.
There are worse things than splitting with ISU. Like losing to TCU. I still think we'll get out of this sick February schedule at 4-5 and limp into the tournament.
Taylor has got to quit shooting outside the paint. Its a wasted possession when he does. #32 is just bad. Why did Barnes bring him in? He needs to be sent to Texas State. #12 is not a basketball player...Athletic as all get out, but not a D1 BBall player. I like the fact our team is scrappy....They battle to the end.....
[/QUOTE] You're out of your mind. Roach is a freshman and maybe inconsistent, but he is going to be a bad ***.
He transferred from Maryland to come home to Texas. Had to sit out 2014 and has had little playing time. Out of High School: The Village School in Houston, Texas (head coach Don Harvey) … tabbed the No. 30 overall prospect in the nation by ESPN and No. 53 by Rivals.com following his senior year … averaged 26.5 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and two assists per game as a senior … was a high school teammate of UT point guard Isaiah Taylor during Cleare’s senior season (Taylor’s junior year).
We played a very good team filled with players who are experienced and talented. In their house they are as good as anyone in the B12. They got McKay back tonight and he was big. With Ibeh in foul trouble from the get go, we had no answer for what ISU had inside. Mckay, Niang and Morris were simply too much tonight. No shame in losing to ISU on their home court.
