Redding was a stud LB at North Shore and came to Texas as such. That's reason for #40. I remember he also returned some kickoffs in HS. Guy was a freak athlete. Senior Year (5A Defensive POY)...215 tackles, 15 sacks, 4 INT's. He was spun down from LB to DE after arriving at Texas.
