Michael Huff likes our DBs

Pretty high praise from a Thorpe winner and national champion.

 

Talent wise I agree. However, as we saw last season translating that talent into a cohesive unit is difficult. With the exception of ND, the real tests will come at the end of the season. A victory of sorts will be if they can hold TCU to under 50.

 

I have been thinking what Huff wrote. In fact, I think the back seven could be very very special. We will begin to see soon enough.

 

I think the whole defense has "the potential" to be very special. But, as DKR always said, "potential just means you haven't done anything yet."

 

They need help up the middle. I have high confidence that if we just shore up the DL, this group will prove Huff right.
