Jennifer Lawrence, Pope Francis, and Obama for Time "Person of the Year." http://time.com/4124110/bernie-sand...f-the-year-poll/?xid=time_socialflow_facebook I think Ahmed and Caitlin Jenner are in the undercard.
Jennifer Lawrence. Someone who gets paid millions to pretend and this is extraordinary? Oh yeah, it's a celebrity.
What exactly does Jennifer Lawrence do that warrants her being Person of the Year? I googled her, and she's hot, but that's about all I see.
She's a MOVIE STAR omg so glamorous she's on all the magazines in Walmart. Her buns are firm as dammit.
What evs. Felicity Jones...now that's a star. http://www.gq.com/gallery/felicity-jones-and-the-theory-of-everything#5
Love him or hate him, Bernie may be the most genuine candidate left in the field. I'm not a fan of his fiscal policies but he's the grandpa everyone left of the hard right wishes they had.
I agree with that. I think he's completely utterly out of touch with everything. But he's genuine. So the choice might come down to a socialist who doesn't understand basic economics, a pathological liar, or a media clown. None of these three seem at all interested in empathy or bringing people together.
2016 word of the year? Establishment. That's my prediction. Throw that label at any political candidate and watch them run. http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/21/polit...s-establishment-iran-normalization/index.html
I see ol Bernie thinks one Supreme that he would nominate can overturn Citizens United. Is he too old for a remedial civics course?
Wasn't Citizen's United a 5-4 decision along ideological lines with Kennedy being the swing vote? They simply need a case to challenge it and agree to hear the case. Is seems when the Executive Branch wants the SC to hear a case for ruling they have a fair amount of influence. Of course, the assumption in Bernie's platform is that the one SCOTUS nominee replaces a conservative Justice. Ginsberg seems to be the next one to be replaced and that she was part of the dissenting 4.
Husker In your haste to defend Bernie ' s stupid declaration you forgot a pretty important stipulation from our Constitution.
