Texas has Baylor in a winner's bracket game today. The Bears upset regular season champion TCU, to get to this game. It's another must win game for the Horns, they are short on arms and need to stay in the winner's bracket. A win gives you two shots at Texas Tech, who eliminated TCU, earlier today. Baylor could of course, be the opponent, but I'm thinking Tech. We beat Baylor and they are about out of pitching. Would be better to play Baylor again, we haven't done much with Tech pitching, in four tries.

Texas has decided to go with left hander Ty Culbreth, against the Bears. That weakens the pen, but I believe the Horns will go all out to win today, to stay in the winner's bracket. They will send anybody to the mound thought needed for the win, if the opportunity is there.

The game is suppose to start at 4 pm, it's televised on various Fox Sports channels, it's on 446 today on Dish. The audio is should be
GEN_1119144623.aspx, but for some reason it's not listed, just the Notre Dame football game. I don't know what is going on there, it hasn't come up. If anybody has the answer, please post it. It's always my backup, if the video goes out and I like the pregame and post game shows.

    Lineups coming.

A soft change is swung on and missed, the K makes it two outs.

Cameron Esthay, plays left field and bats lefty, with one on and two down.
Another walk puts two aboard, and gives the Bears a scoring chance.

A high pop up down the right field line and Marlow has it, as he crosses into foul territory, to retire the side.

Drew Tolson, a right hander will go for the Bears, on the mound.

Ben makes this team go on offense, could use a big game from him.
A fly ball to shallow center field, is one away.

Baker bats righty, with one gone.
He sends a ball by the first baseman and down the right field line, he is going for two, but it's a bad idea, he is out by a mile, on the throw by the right fielder, the 9-6 out is recorded.

    Hinojosa bats righty, two down.
He grounds to third and the 5-3, retires the side.

A ground ball to third is booted and the E-5, lets Zane reach.

Marlow bats lefty, with one on and one down.
A hit and run chopper goes into right field and Gurwitz motors to third, on the single.

Kacy Clemens gets a start at first base today, as the Horns get in all the lefty bats they can.
Coach is out to settle down the pitcher, now returns to the dugout.
Clemens has runners on the corners and one down.
Need to play add on here.
A full count and here is a big early pitch.
A ground ball to first, the first baseman steps on the bag, then goes to second. Marlow wisely stops, to get in run down, but goes directly back to first and is tagged out. This allows Gurwitz to score. The 3U-6-3 double play, ends the frame.
That was close, Marlow shouldn't have gone right back to first, but it turned out ok.

Two played and Texas now leads 2-0.

He pops a ball straight up and the first baseman comes in and has it, two down.

He needs a big clutch job or a Baylor miscue, to add to the lead now.
Baker could go and try to make something happen too.
A hard liner to third is caught, to end the inning.

Texas threatens, but doesn't tally, they lead 2-0, after a third of the game gone.

Culbreth is out for the ninth, trying to go French one better, a complete game shutout.

Lefty hitting Toth, leads off, for Baylor.
He K's on a wild looking swing, at an outside sweeping curve, one gone.

A liner to center, is a single to put two on.

Price bats righty, with two on and one away.
He is now the tying run, at the plate.
A sliciing fly ball, to right, is a three run homer, to tie the game.
I really thought that Culbreth would be pulled, for a right hander, there.
You need to win the game, more than you need to save arms.

    Game tied 3-3.

Sheppard bats righty, with one out.
He grounds to short and Clemens pulls down a high throw, two down.

Menard bats righty, with two away.
Skip comes out, but leaves Culbreth in.
A roller to second and the 4-3 ends the frame.

Baylor ties it on the three run dinger, Texas needs a run to win it, as the bottom of the ninth comes tied now 3-3.

We got greedy, thinking we could get two complete games in a row.

Horns have a chance to reverse this - B 9th bases juiced - 2 outs - Barrera batting.

Don't get greedy - we just need a base hit or a walk.
