He has two on at first and second, with two outs.
A flair to center and on the run, the center fielder has it, to retire the side.

Just like the first game, Texas threatens, but does not score and TCU comes to bat.

Alexander is back on the rubber again, as the Texas third begins.

Baker leads off righty, as the DH, for the Horns.
He takes a fast ball, on the outside corner, for a called strike three, so one gone.

Johnson bats righty, as the top of the order is back again, with one away.
He slaps a grounder up the middle to center for a single.
He should probably run here, if he can decipher the lefty's move.

Shaw bats lefty, with one on and one down.
A bloop over the shortstop's head, falls for another single.
    Too bad Johnson didn't steal.

Hinojosa bats righty, with two on and one away.
Somebody needs to clutch up and tie things or take the lead.
The runners go and another flair will fall down the right field line, for a single, the run scores.

    He returns.

Runners on the corners for Barrera, with one out.

He slug bunts it toward first and beats it out for an infield hit.

Fagnan, bats lefty also, with one on and one down.
A grounder ticketed to right field, is knocked down by Marlow, but their is no play, so it's a second straight infield hit.

Wanahanen, the DH, bats lefty, with two on and one down.
He singled in a run in his first trip.
A full count and a single up the middle, as the runners were on the move, will score a run.

    TCU leads 2-1.

The runner from first for some reason slid into second, he caught a spike and he is down. He is back up and stays in the game.

Alexander is back once more, as the fourth commences.

Lance Brown, us sort of old timers remember him well, as the gruff old head coach at TCU, in old SWC days. They honor him today.

Fagnan, the hurt base runner, comes out of the game.

Marlow bats lefty and leads off, for Texas.
He gets a fast ball on the inner half, and he likes those.
He drives it just over the right field fence, the homer ties the score.

    Game tied at 2-2.

    Gurwitz bats righty, now.
His little liner is caught in right, for one away.

Alexander is still toiling away, for TCU, in the fifth.

Texas leads off with righty hitter, Hinojosa.
A liner up the middle makes C.J. 3-3 on the game, with the single.

Barrera bats righty, with a man on.
He squares and what I think is the first sac bunt of the day, for either team, goes 1-3, and one away.

Cantu it seems always bats with men on today, does so again.
A grounder deep into the hole, on the left side, is reached by the shortstop, his one hop throw is scooped by the first baseman, for a good play on both ends and two away.

Runner on third and Marlow up lefty. with two gone.
He homered his last time, but a hit of any denomination would due now.
He K's swinging to end the frame.

Halfway through the second game of the doubleheader and Texas leads 3-2.

Good to see CJ coming through in this game. Maybe he can inspire the others to switch it on or the season will be done too soon.

He grounds a ball through the left side, for a lead single.

Cody Jones, the lead off man, bats righty as a switch hitter, with one on.
A snap throw by Barrera, to first, is just late.

Skip comes out for a talk, but leaves Ty in.

A nice talk it seems, as a big change gets Jones swinging, so one down.

Odell bats for the first time, as he came in for Fagnan, from the left side.
A double play ball goes to Hinojosa, he drops it and then throws it away, for an error.

Wanahen, the DH, bats lefty, with two on and one down.
A hard shot goes up the middle, Hinojosa dives and make the stop and his flip is over Marlow, an infield hit, will load the bases.

A deep fly ball to left, is a SF, to tie the game.
    The error hurts.

He bats righty, with runners at second and third, with one out.
He is put on to load the bases and set up the force at home and the double play.

Shaw bats lefty and it falls to him to hit the lefty pitcher, to give Texas the lead again.
Got to put the ball in play here.
He doesn't and swings at a low pitch, for the K, and two gone.

Coach out and he wants a righty to face Hinojosa.

Brian Trieglaff, is the new right hander for TCU.

Hinojosa, with three hits in the game, needs another, for Texas to regain the lead.
He takes a fast ball, for a called third strike and the bases are left loaded, with two straight K's.

This has killed Texas all season, hope it doesn't help end their season.

    Tied 3-3, bottom of six.

Brown leads off lefty, for the Frogs.
He is clipped by a big breaker and reaches on the HBP.

He rips a single to left, to put two on.

Skip out and Culbreth in his longest ever outing is staying in.

Garrett bats righty, with two on.
Culbreth stays in most likely, because the bunt is expected.
He squares and the sac bunt goes 5-3, as the runners move up.

Keaton Jones bats righty, with two on and one away.
    The infield comes in.
A fly ball to left is plenty deep enough for the SF.

    TCU leads 4-3.

The runner tagged and moved to third, from second.

Cody Jones bats righty, with a man on third and two away.
They walk him and it's runners on the corners.

Texas wants to face the lefty hitter, in Odell, with two on and two outs.
The runner from first goes and a pitch in the dirt, allows him to steal the bag, without a throw.
He swings through the big curve and it retires the side without further damage.

Kirby Bellow is in to pitch now for Texas, another lefty.

A big hook is taken, for a backwards K ad one down.

He walks on four pitches to score another run.

    TCU leads 6-3.

Cody Jones, the lead off man bats now, with the bases still loaded, with two gone.
Bellow has come unglued now as seven balls in a row, brings out Skip.
He leaves him in and the error has just about done in the Horns and shaken up Bellow.
He walks on four pitches also and that's it for him

    TCU leads 7-3.

    Pitching change.
