like to climb into Stewie's Time machine and delay obamacare for at least a year? Remember how many Republicans called for this?

The incredible debacle gets worse every day and costs us millions more every day.
Most of the roll out issues were predicted and ignored.

    The 3 pieces of crap over past few days should make any supporter cringe;
that BO admitted millions would lose insurance but went ahead and LIED about it at least 17 times
that tech people inside the BO WH called for delay to fix security issues
and that the crap insurance that BO and everyone said was had to be cancelled now can be reinstated." Of you like your cancellation you can keep your cancellation"

There is zero credibility left with the biggest Zero .
The only winners are the insurance companies and BO cronies who are still getting paid hundreds of millions.

The rest of us are getting scrooged and there doesn't seem to be an end

I know that BO decided to change it again last night, without, of course, consulting the Congress who is supposed to make and change the laws.

I thought the purpose of obamacare was to force everyone to get insurance including those 10-40 million who did not have it

NOW BO will allow all those people whose policies he cancelled to go without insurance and not have to pay a penalty?

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of obamacare? Why if some gets ill and needs insurance?

What does BO care? He is jetting off to Hawaii.
I guess he forgot he said he spends ' every waking moment" trying to help the people.

I am convinced now more than ever that the intention of this law was to make things worse so that there was no answer other than a single payer system. It is coming, just wait for it.

Like Roger said, the real purpose of the ACA was to force everyone into a single payer system.

Krauthammer wrote a piece about "The Lie of the Year" in which he said that people are just now beginning to see how radical the ACA really is.

I see your point and no doubt that is what BO planned
but do you think now the 'people" will allow that to happen?

How many citizens would have ever thought that our own government would do this to our people? Look at the misery being dealt.

I was at a conference last week where one expert predicted 70,000,000 will lose their employer based health insurance next year. 70 MILLION.

    Let that sink in.

R35 you can laugh but I've heard the number is likely to be around 50 million.

That being said I'm willing to bet that most of those will re-write the plans to add the coverage to make it work under the ACA. In doing so they will likely raise the deductibles and or co-pays as adding mental health, female reproductive drugs and couple other items will increase the costs.

Do you think Pubs will pass a law making all these Obama changes permanent or do you think they will just sit by and watch Obamacare fail?

As people work to determine how they are going to keep the healthcare system viable, Rog35 and his beggars wait with their hands out for the free goodies.

This law and it's roll out will be one of the largest failures in the history of the United States. Obama has clearly differentiated himself as the worst president in history.

The really scary thing, now that BO rewrites the law on almost a daily basis is that, because Harry invoked the nuclear option, BO will for at least a year be able to appoint Federal judges who believe that the President can actually make law. I can't wait to see how many "regulations" he decrees during that time. There will be few limits, since the Republicans don't seem to have the backbone to call him on it, and the majority of voters are much more concerned with The Survivor et al than a President rewriting the Constitution. Hell, half of them probably don't have a clue what the Constitution is or what it's principles are. We need Jay Leno to ask around. One of the people he interviewed said that the American Revolution was a war between the US and Germany. We cannot sustain a Representative Democracy with an ill-informed electorate.

    2 questions
Do you think there is any way that obamacare can actually work, succeed? Even with the 14 changes BO has unilaterally made?
How can the GOP make anything permanent?

If the changes he makes are unconstitutional why is no one calling him to task.

Because a lot of people still think he is the Messiah and the smartest man on earth?? And because if you say he is a dangerous narcissist who is trying to change the country in truly fundamental and anti-capitalist ways, you are called an idiot and a racist. Wait for it.......3.....2......1

    Pharm

You said:'No it was to set some minimum standards for ins plans "
    That is so laughable.
I guess you haven't paid attention to BO's changes. minimum standards now mean
you can lie on your application , you don't evenhave to pay right away no one will verify
you can have bare bones catastrophic plan that BO and all scoffed at as being substandard
now all of sudden that substandard plan is A OKAY

    so much for minimum standards
Oh and there is now a delay in signing up with no penalty
and NONE of those changes had anything to do with the GOP

Clean, that is indeed scary. But more scary are the millions of people who see nothing wrong with what he is doing. Intelligent people, not just the sheep. I am glad that I won't live to see the debacle that this bill will cause. That's probably because I'm sure my posts are being monitored so I will incur the wrath of the death panels. [IMG]

I do think they would protect our identities at ALL costs .And if that ever happens I know we all will contribute to a defense fund to get the best mouthpiece alive.

    back to minimum standards
    1. some of the standards are nothing more than a way to take from some to give to others.

and IF these ' minimum standards" were so absolute why are so many people now being allowed to buy policies without these so important ' minimum standards"?
