Thanks for posting that. All I had heard was that it was an anti Trump pac. It is really disgusting that these ads are targeting a particular religion . I wonder how Mormon reaction is gender wise.

be sure and read the link Croc provided. The pac is named and I am not sure the amount of money spent to reach 10,000-20,000 qualifies as a super pac in the strictest sense even though she calls her org a super pac.

I have gotten to the breaking point with Trump. Attacking your opponents wife, seriously? New low for even Trump. If this bozo gets the nomination then I will vote Libertarian this year.

it has gone too far with the national enquirer story. I'll believe every promise made by every politician before I'll believe there are 5 women who would choose to have sex with Ted Cruz.

You'd be surprised. Power is almost as big of an aphrodisiac as money. When I worked at the Capitol, I saw junior state representatives get more *** than a toilet seat. These were dudes who were far less attractive than Ted Cruz and had a tiny fraction of the power and prestige.

Not only could Cruz get five women to have sex with him, he could get them tonight, at the same time, with little effort, and at no cost. It doesn't matter that he's an aloof, sanctimonious tool.

Houma pushing away vs. what Lewandowski did

    Different standard?

    "Mom, she's touching me!"

This "touch" is from the same event and occurred just before Lewandowski intervened (confirmed by the Secret Service). Perhaps it even prompted the intervention?

Here is something by a campaign aide that comes much closer to the definition of an actual criminal assault
    This is back in 2010
    The politician is Martha Coakley
The location is outside some DC bar after a lobbyist fundraiser.
The reporter is John McCormack who was with the Weekly Standard
FF to ~ 1:30 in case it doesn't automatically

It would be a double standard if Houma pulled the woman away from HRC rather than pushing away unsolicited affection. As it stands based on the video, Houma didn't appreciate the attempt to hug her.

Oh...there is also the fact that Lewandowski allegedly bruised the reporter too. Think Houma bruised that woman?

I honestly don't think this is that big of a deal. This reporter clearly wants her 15 seconds of fame. This coupled with Lewandowski's behavior in the crowds at campaign stops demonstrates that he's quite the hothead though.

I think it will be a mildly interesting side issue to see the effect on Fields' career from this matter.

It's easy to see it being a huge negative for her. She had already somewhat pigeon-holed herself by working at Breitbart. And there is some speculation out there now that Fox News has dropped her.

On the other hand, would it be a shocker to see one of the bigger news groups throw money at her simply as a reward for attempting to derail Trump? It happens (in these circles at least). For example, NBC gave Chelsea Clinton a fake job at $600k per year for about 3 years (or ~ $26,724 per minute of actual airtime). She did things like interview the Geico gecko. Maybe Fields can parlay bruise-gate into some baloney job like this?

    New poll from Marquette U:

Has the worm finally turned on Trump?

Now the 3 remaining GOP candidates appear to be backing away from their pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee.

This won't play well on the coasts. I understand the logic in saying "women should be punished" in the event abortions were outlawed and an individual has one anyway. After all, they would be breaking the law. Still, he's giving further ammunition for the lefts accusation of a war on women.

Not surprising especially for Cruz given that Trump has personally attacked his wife. What a bonehead move by Trump. You would have expected that the front runner at some point would start thinking about the end game and coalescing support from his rivals not talking **** about their wives.

In the War on Women, he has given the Democrats a full scale nuclear arsenal and did so long before this comment. The toughest decision will be figuring out where to start.

After an immediate shitstorm, the Trump campaign has "clarified" his stance:

The damage is done though. Oh, and clearly his position changed in the matter of ~12 hours. This is like when Trump makes a sexist comment then follows it up "women love me" or when he calls Mexican immigrants "rapists" and "thugs" then follows that up with "Mexicans love me".

And if you read his statement, it's nonsensical and full of baseless speculation. If Congress or a state bans abortion, women wouldn't get prosecuted - unless of course Congress or the state at issue wrote the law in a way that creates a criminal offense against the woman. How can he speculate on what the actual language would be especially at the state level?

If only the GOP would call for following the Constitution on this issue by making it a state issue where it was for almost 200 years, its national candidates wouldn't have to fumble around with the nuances. They go to a hell of a lot of trouble and throw away a lot of political capital to appease the small minority that wants to pass a national ban.

Here is an interesting allegation about what happened with Fields (alleges a conspiracy with Ben Terris (the WAPO reporter in the plaid shirt). There is too much stuff to drop it in here. Read it if you like
    http://www.dangerandplay.com/2016/0...into-charging-corey-lewandowski-with-battery/

Also, this is the same prosecutor's office that pursued that pursued a fake pain pill charge against Rush Limbaugh for 3 years, (no crime ever found), yet refused to pursue statutory rape charges against Clinton pal/contributor Jeffrey Epstein (despite videotaped statements of 5 of the alleged victims, the pimp/procurer of the girls and 16 other witnesses.)

Of course, the polling shows that Kasich is the only candidate (or hypothetical candidate if you include Ryan and Romney) who can beat Hillary. Unfortunately in a party dominated by ****-kickers and hillbillies, a candidate who offers serious policy ideas rather than smack talk just doesn't gain much traction. It's like trying to start an opera club at a tractor pull.

If you take the time to dig into that poll, you will see that everyone's unfavorables were greater than their favorables. Except Kasich. My explanation for this is that he has been largely overshadowed by all the other candidates and is still largely unknown, outside Ohio. Further, once the rest of the nation gets to know him better, they will dislike him just as much as they do everyone else.

"MOSCOW — Donald J. Trump, the leading Republican presidential candidate, was widely condemned when he called for the United States to “take out the families” of terrorists.

His approach — even after he clarified that he was not talking about killing the relatives — was dismissed by many as immoral and unlawful. Yet, it is the very tactic that Russia has pursued for decades.

It is the signature, though officially unacknowledged, policy behind Moscow’s counterinsurgency and counterterrorism strategies, and Russia’s actions in smashing a Muslim separatist rebellion in the Caucasus provide a laboratory for testing Mr. Trump’s ideas.

The family ties that bind in terrorist groups came into focus last week after the police in Brussels disclosed that two of the three suicide bombers in the attacks there were brothers, Ibrahim and Khalid el-Bakraoui. All told, analysts estimate that a third of the participants in terrorist acts are related to another attacker.

In the conflict that began in Chechnya and has since metastasized into a loosely organized Islamic rebellion throughout the Caucasus region, Russian security services routinely arrest, torture and kill relatives, rights groups say.

The Russian approach, enough to make supporters of waterboarding wince, has by some accounts been grimly effective. Abductions of family members unwound the rebel leadership in Chechnya, for example....."
