That was an amazing finish, but the coverage was very meh. If Tiger had sunk that putt with an injury, Wadkins, et al, would have been falling all over themselves. Oh well, I guess Texas was expected to make it to the NC match, maybe that explains it.
Hossler did have a bad *** putt yesterday. Sure hope he can go today in the Championship round with UO.
Any news on Hossler? We lose that Match if he can't go...... I am not sure what the injury was but it looked like a separated shoulder that kept popping out of the socket....
Always will wonder what might have been if Hossler played. Oregon gets to play in Oregon against team that has to spot them a 1-0 lead and it is other teams best player who is the one who concedes. Gave them every advantage possible and still took 21 holes for them to win it in fifth match. Have to be proud of Texas giving it everything possible under worst of circumstances.
How come 2-2-1 tiebreaker was extra holes instead of best stroke play of the first 4 rounds? 20:20 hindsight but I think this is more fair than putting kids through extra holes.
