Good point about the Longhorn logo. I really hate the home gray uniforms. Wonder where that idea of gray came from as a home option. It seems like we wore them in our home game against Baylor. Must by the reason we lost.

Pretty sure it was men's hoops coach, Tom Penders who introduced silver gray uniforms as an alternate home uniform back in the day.

Nice interview. Can't wait to see her game. I didn't catch who she played for who went to Texas 10 years ago. Anyone get that?

Shell Dailey, IMG Academy, Director of Women's Basketball/Head Coach.

"Shell Dailey played four years of collegiate basketball at the University of Texas from 1981-85. Led by Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame member and Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame member, Head Coach Jody Conradt, the Longhorns participated in postseason play in all four of Dailey’s seasons. During her freshman year, the team reached the AIAW Final Four, losing to Rutgers in the Championship Game. Over the next three seasons, Dailey helped the Longhorns to two Elite 8 appearances and one Sweet 16 berth. During her collegiate career, the Longhorns won four Southwest Conference championships and never lost a conference game. Named as the team captain her senior year, Dailey also received numerous academic rewards and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in advertising management."

Coach Aston just being proud! And who can blame her with Joyner Holmes on the cover of the 2016 Nike Nationals tournament program!
